Staff Software Engineer (Continuous Integration)

Location: Remote Canada

Salary: USD 181,000–241,000 per year base pay for Canada.

What you will do

• Own the design, scalability, and reliability of build and CI pipelines across multiple services and platforms.
• Optimize build times, test coverage, reporting, and developer feedback cycles.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response for CI systems.
• Improve deployment workflows, developer tooling, automation, and engineering productivity.
• Drive the vision for continuous integration and developer productivity infrastructure.
• Lead and mentor CI engineers while partnering with engineering leadership on platform goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering efforts in CI, build systems, or developer productivity.
• Strong experience with modern build systems such as GitHub, Buildkite, and Artifactory.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Strong programming experience with Python, Kotlin, Java, or a similar language.
• Experience managing build systems and frameworks for large monorepos.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with large-scale software development at a leading technology company.
