Supervisor, Electrical Maintenance (Medium Voltage) (Facilities)

What you will do

• Lead technicians responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing campus-wide mechanical, HVAC, electrical, compressed air, plumbing, and related facility systems.
• Schedule daily work, prioritize assignments, and coordinate multiple site improvement projects.
• Observe contractor work, enforce safety procedures, and report or stop unsafe work conditions.
• Maintain records for facility trades and communicate daily activities, projects, team performance, and issues to the Manager.
• Manage vendor and contractor finances in coordination with buyers and accounts payable.
• Coach and develop technicians while improving team performance and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• At least 3 years of facilities management experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment including chilled water systems, boilers, VFDs, pumps, PLCs, condensers, split systems, air compressors, and dust collectors.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and develop continuous improvement solutions.
• Strong attention to detail, cleanliness standards, communication, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of building management and automated facilities monitoring systems.
• Experience managing budgets, negotiating contracts, comparing service costs, and working with third-party vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with asset management software.
