Solutions Engineer (Cloud Security)

Location: Remote within the Greater Tokyo Area, Japan. Candidates must be located in or willing to work within the Greater Tokyo Area and travel up to 50% for customer and business engagements.

What you will do

• Partner with Account Executives and sales teams to provide technical leadership for enterprise customers and prospects.
• Deliver whiteboard sessions, product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-value outcomes.
• Help customers design detailed test plans to evaluate the Wiz platform in their environments.
• Advise customers on cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Stay current with product features, industry developments, and technical practices.
• Represent Wiz at trade shows, technical meet-ups, and industry events.

Requirements

• Experience in sales engineering or solutions engineering, including delivering solutions to C-level executives at enterprise customers.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Cloud security experience, including risk-based security assessments and security frameworks.
• Network engineering experience with operating systems, virtual machines, and containers.
• Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys.
• Legal right to work in Japan without visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with CSPM tools and the SaaS industry.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools.
• Experience delivering demonstrations and training to channel customers.
• Strong technical sales process expertise and partner enablement experience.
