What you will do
- Execute the SEO roadmap for Sports Direct European websites and prioritise high-impact projects.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues affecting crawlability, indexation, and page performance.
- Use local keyword research and search trends to guide content plans and localisation across European markets.
- Monitor SEO KPIs, traffic, rankings, and organic revenue across EU markets.
- Produce performance reports and identify new growth opportunities from search and performance data.
- Track industry changes and share relevant SEO tools, techniques, and best practices with internal teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role, ideally in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong technical SEO skills covering site architecture, crawlability, indexation, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with international or multilingual websites, including hreflang, geotargeting, and international SEO.
- Experience collaborating with localisation and translation teams across multiple markets.
- Proficiency in keyword research, content strategy, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Fluent English and fluency in at least one of French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Danish are required, both written and verbal.
