Senior Analyst, Analytics and Visualization Engineer (AI)

Location: North Bethesda, Maryland, at the corporate headquarters; hybrid schedule with office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.

Salary: $99,919–$117,552 per year.

What you will do

• Design and enhance Tableau dashboards with effective visualizations and AI-generated commentary on business drivers, anomalies, and potential actions.
• Turn complex analytical findings, model outputs, and predictions into decision-oriented stories for franchisees, commercial teams, and senior executives.
• Build conversational analytics experiences that let nontechnical users explore governed data with natural-language questions.
• Prototype and refine workflows integrating large language models with enterprise data sources, including automated performance summaries and anomaly explanations.
• Build governed data sources, flows, semantic layers, published extracts, Python-generated Excel reports, automated workbooks, and lightweight analytical tools.
• Translate business questions into analytical requirements while coordinating with data scientists, engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience developing Tableau dashboards, analytical reports, or data products.
• 1–3 years of experience writing SQL queries.
• Proficiency with Tableau and SQL, plus knowledge of data modeling, joins, aggregation logic, semantic layers, and query performance.
• Experience with governed metrics, reusable data models, database query tools, and business-facing reporting solutions.
• Ability to investigate complex data and reporting issues, maintain accuracy, communicate clearly, and manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Redshift, Amazon S3, Python-based reporting or automation, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Relevant technical certifications.
