Maintenance Shop A Technician

Location: Frankfort, Kentucky, USA. The role involves hands-on maintenance work on-site and on the road.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.
• Diagnose and repair engines, diesel fuel systems, emissions aftertreatment, and REGEN systems.
• Service air and hydraulic brakes, hydraulic and electrical controls, and HVAC systems.
• Use electronic tools and scan tools to identify malfunctions and diagnose electrical concerns.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and repairs on-site and on the road.
• Complete company training programs and support fleet drivers and route operations.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate strong technical expertise.
• Experience inspecting and repairing systems such as suspension and steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, or diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications T1–T8, LNG/CNG experience, and a Class B or higher CDL are preferred but not required.
