Group Exercise Class Instructor

What you will do

• Lead group exercise classes for members and approved participants.
• Design inclusive routines with modifications for different fitness levels.
• Deliver a positive class experience and excellent customer service.
• Maintain a safe environment by following site-specific safety and injury-prevention procedures.
• Teach scheduled strength, yoga, glute-focused, and core exercise classes three days per week.

Requirements

• Hold a primary group exercise certification from a nationally recognized organization such as AFAA, ACE, or IDEA, or a specialty certification appropriate to the class format.
• Yoga instructors must have completed or participated in a 200-hour certification.
• Current CPR certification with hands-on training through AHA, ARC, or an approved community/lay responder or Basic Life Support program.
• Current First Aid certification including a hands-on skills evaluation.
• Have 1–3 years of experience instructing group exercise classes.

Nice to have

• Experience in a corporate fitness setting.
