Engineer Lead Sr, FDE

Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia; in-office three days per week. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance from an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end development and maintenance of complex enterprise technology platforms.
• Integrate applications, APIs, data, identity systems, and legacy platforms across the enterprise.
• Design and guide APIs, services, event flows, data integrations, and modernization patterns.
• Define technical approaches, architecture, application scope, specifications, and long-term technology direction.
• Partner with application, Web, Marketing, business, and technical teams to gather requirements, review designs, and drive adoption of reusable enterprise patterns.
• Coordinate change requests, testing, monitoring, on-call support, solution reviews, and cross-team delivery.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 9 years of experience with multidimensional platforms and business and technical applications.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, or a comparable modern engineering stack.
• Experience with legacy modernization, identity, data integration, cloud, distributed systems, multiple databases, or multiple programming languages.
• Experience leading large-scale initiatives, mentoring others, troubleshooting, and providing production support.
