Project Accountant 2 (Construction)

Location: Hybrid, Seattle, Washington

Salary: $69,000–$110,500 annually in Washington.

What you will do

• Manage small-project accounting from project review and setup through final project closeout.
• Administer contracts for consultants and general contractors.
• Set up projects in Oracle and the purchasing systems (POMS).
• Review fixed-asset classifications, use-tax assessments, and project transactions.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Lead on-site store fixture installation processes and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze facts, make accurate decisions, summarize data, and create meaningful reports.
• Strong mathematical skills and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with curiosity, ownership, and initiative.
• Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Seattle, Washington and travel for on-site installations as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with fixed assets, construction, or property development.
• Experience with Oracle, Coupa, Concur, Smartsheet, and AI.
