AI Support Engineer – Embedded Systems

Salary: $900,000–$130,000 annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain AI troubleshooting and remediation agents for customer logs, embedded traces, telemetry, crash dumps, Linux, SONiC, Docker, firmware, and networking issues.
• Design conversational AI workflows for triage, log analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective-action planning.
• Implement semantic search, embeddings, and vector-database integrations to retrieve relevant support knowledge and previous cases.
• Develop production-quality Python tools, diagnostic automation, and AI workflow integrations.
• Convert recurring issues into reusable AI workflows, remediation playbooks, and support automation while improving prompt and retrieval quality.
• Work with customers and internal engineering teams to investigate issues, explain findings, validate corrective actions, and drive resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience with AI-assisted troubleshooting, remediation, conversational AI workflows, and large language models.
• Strong Python skills for production tools, log-analysis pipelines, and AI workflow integrations.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks, plus semantic search, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Strong log analysis, root-cause investigation, and hands-on debugging skills in embedded, Linux, SONiC, or Docker environments.
• Ability to validate AI-generated findings and communicate technical conclusions clearly to customers and internal teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI agent-orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with AI observability, agent tracing, prompt evaluation, regression testing, or AI recommendation-quality measurement.
• Knowledge of optical communications, telecommunications equipment, data center infrastructure, transceivers, or related networking and platform domains.
