Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

Salary: $76,559.55–$85,066.17 per year.

What you will do

• Review system specifications and collaborate with business analysts, test engineers, and test planners or managers to develop test strategies, plans, and procedures.
• Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and evaluate product code against specifications.
• Document testing phases, defects, and requirement verification and validation activities.
• Report bugs, manage defect databases and logs, and help troubleshoot issues with development teams.
• Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing while supporting quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Configure required hardware and operating environments for assigned testing activities.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of automation software testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience developing and executing automated test scripts, building test plans, and executing manual test scripts.
• Experience with Selenium, Agile methodology, sprint-based testing cycles, bug-tracking tools such as Jira, and detailed test documentation.
• Experience working with developers and cross-functional software development teams, with strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who has lived in the United States for at least 3 years and must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust.
