Focus on resolving manufacturing issues, improving operational performance, developing lead technicians, and ensuring work packages meet delivery, cost, quality, and customer requirements.

Location: On-site in the Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 3rd shift

hirify.global operates a U.S. commercial aircraft manufacturing facility producing A320 Family and A220 aircraft.

What you will do

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for A220 production activities and monitor aircraft progress through the station.
  • Lead the multifunctional team in the absence of the Business Unit Leader and coordinate activities across the final assembly line, management teams, and support functions.
  • Promote OSHA compliance, workplace safety, quality, delivery performance, and adherence to customer expectations.
  • Manage materials, tools, jigs, station documentation, attendance, time management, and work-package completion.
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing issues, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to operational KPIs and quality gates.
  • Mentor Lead Technicians, create workforce development plans, coordinate training needs, and manage appropriate corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least four years of experience in aviation, manufacturing engineering, assembly processes, production methods, or equivalent work.
  • Knowledge of quality and logistics rules in aviation manufacturing.
  • Effective communication skills, structured working methods, and the ability to manage complex information.
  • Eligible for employment in the United States without sponsorship; current U.S. work authorization is required.

Nice to have

  • Two to five years of aviation leadership experience.
  • Experience in a complex, growing, dynamic environment with a matrixed reporting structure.
