What you will do

• Provide architectural leadership across existing properties, redevelopment projects, repositioning initiatives, and tenant improvements.
• Support acquisitions and due diligence by evaluating existing conditions, zoning, building codes, site opportunities, and redevelopment strategies.
• Develop conceptual plans, test fits, site plans, floor plans, elevations, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Lead projects from programming and design development through construction documents, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.
• Coordinate structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interiors, signage, accessibility, and other consultants.
• Manage permitting, code compliance, RFIs, submittals, construction meetings, field coordination, punch lists, and QA/QC while balancing budget, schedule, constructability, leasing needs, and asset value.

Requirements

• Texas architectural licensure is required.
• 7–10 years of professional architectural experience, preferably in commercial real estate, office, retail, industrial, mixed-use, or other commercial projects.
• Experience leading projects from concept through construction and construction administration.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems, construction methods, detailing, building codes, accessibility, permitting, budgets, schedules, and constructability.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment in Plano, Texas.

Nice to have

• Licensure in additional states.
• Experience with tenant improvements, renovations, repositioning, redevelopment, or adaptive reuse.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
