Associate BioServices Study Lead (Bioanalytical Research)

Location: Hybrid role in Ithaca, New York, United States of America

Salary: $64,200–$133,600 annualized base pay

What you will do

• Provide scientific oversight for method development, method validation, and sample analysis activities.
• Serve as Principal Investigator for GLP studies and ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice and Good Laboratory Practice requirements.
• Review validation plans, sample analysis plans, experimental designs, analytical data, data tables, and bioanalytical reports.
• Communicate with external customers, provide project updates, resolve sample discrepancies, and coordinate customer visits.
• Monitor project progress, assess resource requirements, escalate schedule risks, and support project completion and archiving.
• Investigate failed runs, address Quality Control and Quality Assurance findings, coordinate troubleshooting, and document outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least 3 years of related experience in a GLP laboratory environment.
• Understanding of liquid chromatography combined with mass spectrometry, or in vitro and immunoassay techniques.
• Experience with sample extraction and routine laboratory procedures.
• Understanding of assay method development and validation.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to collaborate with scientific, quality, project management, business development, and customer teams.
