Engineering Technician III (CNC)

Location: Raynham, Massachusetts, United States of America; on-site presence required 5 days a week

Salary: $55,000–$88,550 per year

What you will do

• Develop complete CNC programs for complex multi-axis milling and lathe applications, including low-volume, high-mix 5-axis machining of medical device components.
• Use CAM software such as Unigraphics, SolidCAM, or Mastercam.
• Design production processes, tooling strategies, fixtures, and machining methods while interpreting GD&T requirements.
• Optimize CNC/NC processes to improve productivity, quality, cycle time, throughput, scalability, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Work on the production floor with machinists, engineering, operations, quality, programming, and production teams to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues.
• Lead cost-reduction, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence projects with measurable results.

Requirements

• High school diploma and experience creating CNC programs and setting up CNC equipment.
• At least 3–5 years of experience as an Engineering Technician.
• Demonstrated experience developing CNC programs for complex geometries and working with machined-part manufacturing.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing shop-floor environment.
• Experience leading cost-reduction, efficiency, or process-improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing problems and develop practical solutions.
