Technical Building Equipment Expert (all genders) (Building Services Engineering)

Location: Monheim, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany; hybrid work models may be available where possible.

Salary: €88,900–€108,000 per year plus a variable component for full-time employment.

What you will do

• Apply and coordinate technical and operational standards for laboratories, greenhouses, chemical storage facilities, and energy and utility infrastructure.
• Plan and implement TBE-focused investments and monitor project execution.
• Act as Discipline Lead for larger investments at the Monheim site.
• Support operational units with technical expertise during day-to-day activities, peak workloads, and vacation coverage.
• Ensure compliance with local technical and legal regulations and internal corporate guidelines.
• Contribute to regional and global expert groups and develop best-practice specifications for supplier and service-provider framework agreements.

Requirements

• University degree in building services engineering or comparable education.
• Several years of professional experience as a project engineer in planning and project execution.
• Comprehensive experience with Technical Building Equipment projects, particularly heating and cooling supply.
• Experience collaborating in a matrix organization, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of technical and commercial business processes.
• Fluent German and very good written and spoken English are required.
