Location: On-site in Hillsboro, Oregon, or Phoenix, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico. This position is not available in Colorado.

Annual salary range: $89,098–$89,102 USD.

What you will do

• Develop semiconductor technologies for AI, high-performance computing, and advanced devices.
• Advance semiconductor processes, technologies, and manufacturing solutions.
• Apply analytics, modeling, simulation, and experimentation to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Improve manufacturing yield, quality, reliability, and performance through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate across engineering and technology teams on next-generation semiconductor innovations.
• Support safe, sustainable, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant STEM field, such as chemical engineering, electrical engineering, materials science, microelectronics engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or physics.
• At least 3 months of educational, research, laboratory, internship, or industry experience.
• Availability to start in Spring or Summer 2027, with consideration for year-long internships or co-op opportunities.
• Employment-based visa or immigration sponsorship is not available.
• Technical experience may come from coursework, research, academic projects, internships, laboratory work, or related activities.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with programming, analytics, modeling, simulation, automation, visualization tools, or design of experiments.
• Experience in semiconductor technology, advanced manufacturing, process development, materials science, chemistry, physics, or related technical fields.
• Ability to communicate technical findings and collaborate across project teams.
