Location: Santa Ana, California, United States; applicants must be US Citizens due to ITAR regulations

Salary: $43,338–$68,503 per year, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium for eligible assignments.

What you will do

  • Complete one major and two minor process engineering projects during a 10–12-week summer internship.
  • Use robots, machines, and automation to improve production, quality, and safety.
  • Learn data collection, manufacturing execution systems, and connected-factory concepts while helping build and integrate related devices.
  • Work with an assigned manager, mentor, facility personnel, and subject matter experts across North America.
  • Present project progress and results to facility leadership and at the TTM summer technology expo.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college or university and be in good academic standing.
  • Major in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Be a junior entering the senior year of college.
  • Demonstrate basic engineering knowledge, good mathematics and communication skills, leadership ability, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Be a US Citizen and comply with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and TTM export-control procedures.
