Electrical Engineering Intern

Location: Onsite in Lexington, Kentucky, United States; regular work at the company office or worksite is required.

Salary: $17.75–$19.75 per hour

What you will do

• Perform electrical design calculations under engineer supervision.
• Incorporate marked-up drawings into CAD/BIM platforms.
• Select and schedule simple equipment such as light fixtures and panelboards.
• Assist with cost estimate preparation and project submittal assembly.
• Handle personal, protected, and Covered Defense Information according to data protection and security policies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in college.
• U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CAD/BIM.
• Technical, communication, critical-thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and write complex documents in English; English proficiency is required.
• Successful completion of drug and background screening.
