Electrical Engineer Intern (Marine)

Location: Onsite in Edgewater, Florida, United States. Relocation is available. Full-time internship from May to August 2027.

Salary: $18.00–$27.00 per hour

What you will do

• Support the development of electrical components, panels, wiring harnesses, and electrical systems for boat products.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models, including electrical harness routings and specifications.
• Install, test, evaluate, and troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, components, and systems.
• Generate engineering changes, construction drawings, and manufacturing work instructions.
• Communicate with equipment and component suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Support manufacturing and customer service with integration and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline; at least two completed years preferred.
• Computer-aided design experience with Siemens NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Pro/ENGINEER.
• 3D modeling skills.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work a full 40-hour week.

Nice to have

• Boating, fishing, or marine industry knowledge and experience.
• US Coast Guard safe boating course completion.
• Boat handling experience.
