New Product Introduction Sourcing Specialist

Location: USA - East Peoria, Illinois

Salary: $67,700–$101,600 USD per year, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term variable incentives.

What you will do

• Lead RFQs, quote analysis, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and total-cost assessments for NPI materials.
• Source components, assemblies, fabricated parts, electrical components, enclosures, and other materials.
• Coordinate supplier commitments, NPI purchase orders, delivery schedules, PPAP orders, inspections, and production release requirements.
• Ensure material readiness for prototypes, validation builds, production launch, and stabilization.
• Resolve shortages, late deliveries, quality issues, and other supply risks while developing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Represent Sourcing and Supply Chain in NPI teams, program reviews, build-readiness meetings, and launch activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field, or four years of relevant supply chain experience in a comparable environment.
• Experience with engineering change processes and the new product development cycle.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system and an understanding of inventory management principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated project management ability.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
