Select Account Executive

Location: Denver, Colorado, United States

Salary: $60,000–$120,000 per year; bonus eligible with a target incentive of 5%

What you will do

• Provide proactive, personalized account management for Select Commercial Lines clients generating $10,000–$15,000 in revenue.
• Analyze coverage options, carrier quotes, and insurance program alternatives, then present recommendations to clients.
• Manage renewal workflows, market and place renewals, prevent coverage lapses, and maintain at least 92% retention on the assigned book of business.
• Determine suitable carriers, negotiate on clients’ behalf, and support invoicing, collections, and policy cancellation processes.
• Support new business sales, cross-selling opportunities, and meetings with prospective clients alongside Producers and Practice Leaders.
• Mentor junior Select Commercial Lines team members and participate in weekly sales and marketing meetings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Commercial Property & Casualty insurance agency.
• Property & Casualty insurance license required.
• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Ability to handle complex tasks involving multiple concrete and abstract variables with minimal instruction.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.

Nice to have

• College degree.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
