Commercial Lines Account Manager (Insurance)

Location: On-site in Naperville, Illinois, United States

Salary: $60,000–$80,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as a primary client contact for commercial insurance accounts and handle quotes, policies, endorsements, certificates, renewals, correspondence, and account transactions.
• Respond to client and company inquiries, collect renewal data, and provide claims support.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans while applying insurance principles and current policy provisions.
• Review new and renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain client data and document account activity in Applied Systems / EPIC, including upload, download, and interface processes.
• Keep Producers and management informed about account activity, potential issues, and important developments.

Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• At least two years of commercial lines experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong organization, prioritization, initiative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, plus the ability to calculate premiums, commissions, percentages, and related figures.
• Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, and apply insurance principles to daily situations.

Nice to have

• Applied Systems / EPIC experience.
• CPCU designation or completion of a specialized training course.
