Program Administrator, Center for Cancer and Aging (Cancer Care Administration): Providing clinical, operational, and administrative support for geriatric oncology services, including patient navigation, assessments, triage, referrals, and program coordination with an accent on older-patient care and caregiver support. Focus on screening eligible patients, reviewing medical records, maintaining patient-tracking databases, and coordinating educational forums and support groups.

Location: Onsite in Boston, Massachusetts, with up to one remote day per week. Remote work is limited to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.

Salary: $60,330–$74,915 per year

What you will do

  • Provide clinical, operational, and administrative support for the Center for Cancer and Aging.
  • Identify eligible patients, review medical records, conduct geriatric assessments, and support patient navigation.
  • Assist with triage and referrals to supportive care and specialty services.
  • Maintain patient and activity databases, collect data, and prepare program reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, seminars, educational forums, support groups, and special projects.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients, caregivers, staff, departments, and external contacts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology-oriented business environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, and Adobe.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with patients, caregivers, colleagues, leadership, and external contacts.
  • Patient contact with an adult population is required; no license or certification is required.
