TL;DR
Test Technician III - RF (AESA) (RF and antenna testing): Building, executing, and troubleshooting test setups for active phased-array antennas and complex RF electronics with an accent on instrumentation, measurement data, and system-level characterization. Focus on diagnosing RF, power, thermal, and digital integration issues, improving repeatable test methodologies, and maintaining laboratory equipment.

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Salary: $34.39–$40.64 per hour

What you will do

  • Execute RF and antenna test plans and report accurate findings.
  • Create, maintain, troubleshoot, and characterize complex RF test setups from component to system level.
  • Collaborate with engineers to diagnose RF, power, thermal, and digital integration issues.
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and verify laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
  • Develop standardized test procedures and improve lab efficiency, repeatability, and documentation quality.
  • Organize testing facilities, equipment, lab resources, and cross-functional support activities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of directly related Engineering Technician or RF Technician experience.
  • Hands-on experience with active electronics and RF systems.
  • Experience using spectrum analyzers, VNAs, RF signal generators, oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power meters.
  • Ability to troubleshoot RF systems, interpret measurement data, and work independently.
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, test procedures, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong organization, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience testing phased-array antennas or AESA systems.
