Quality Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Apply quality tools including Pareto charts, histograms, check sheets, flowcharts, and SPC charts.
• Use measurement equipment and evaluate results against product specifications.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, final, cosmetic, dimensional, functional, and agency inspections.
• Conduct product and process audits and determine sampling methods and acceptance criteria with management guidance.
• Analyze failures and implement corrective actions using 8D and 5 Whys methodologies.
• Identify, label, segregate, and recommend dispositions for non-conforming products; support validation of revised products and processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Minimum two years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; five years is preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication is required.
• Basic ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work on-site on a manufacturing floor, with PPE, prolonged standing or sitting, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and up to 45 lbs occasionally.
