Quality Assurance Technician 1 (Temporary) (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California; onsite night-shift role

Pay: $19.30–$25.36 per hour, plus a 15% night-shift differential

What you will do

• Perform detailed defect inspections of advanced probing technology products using the Olympus MX-50 microscope and precision inspection tools.
• Conduct in-process and finished-goods inspections against customer and internal specifications.
• Capture inspection images and document product quality findings.
• Identify nonconforming products, prepare nonconformance reports, and support engineering investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Validate outgoing product data, complete data entry, and maintain inventory information and product traceability in database systems.
• Work with quality, engineering, and production teams on a compressed 3x4 schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:15 a.m.

Requirements

• Less than one year of related experience; no formal occupational training is typically required.
• Experience or ability in microscope-based inspection, precision measurement, and clean room manufacturing.
• Computer literacy, Microsoft Office, and accurate data entry skills.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, hand dexterity, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work onsite in Livermore, California, on the assigned night-shift schedule.
