Head of IT & Compliance (AI)

Model ML is an enterprise AI platform that automates the production and validation of client-ready work for major financial institutions. The company has raised a $75 million Series A and operates across global teams.

What you will do

• Lead global IT operations, including identity and access management, endpoint management, hardware, software provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, helpdesk operations, and vendor management.
• Manage collaboration platforms, productivity tools, identity providers, device management, security tooling, and business-critical enterprise systems.
• Develop the IT roadmap, budgets, operating procedures, and scalable processes for a 150+ employee organisation.
• Own security governance, access reviews, risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, vendor assessments, internal audits, and compliance reporting.
• Partner with Engineering, Legal, HR, Finance, and Customer Success on security and operational best practices.
• Lead customer security reviews, due diligence questionnaires, enterprise procurement support, and customer audits.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience leading IT in a high-growth SaaS or technology business.
• Experience managing IT operations for global organisations with 100–500+ employees.
• Strong expertise in identity and access management, endpoint management, enterprise IT infrastructure, and cloud-based productivity platforms.
• Experience leading security, governance, and compliance initiatives, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and enterprise audit programmes.
• Familiarity with GDPR, UK GDPR, AWS or Azure, and modern zero-trust security architectures.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
