Transaction Advisory Senior Consultant (Finance)

Location: US, New York; remote and hybrid work options, with travel to client locations as required

What you will do

• Perform and support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements.
• Analyze large data sets and prepare Excel data books covering quality of earnings, debt and debt-like items, and net working capital.
• Evaluate financial and operational trends and challenge target-company assumptions.
• Assist with and lead sections of due diligence meetings with target management.
• Prepare tailored reports on normalized earnings, financial reporting, working capital trends, and indebtedness.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver clear findings on schedule and strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

• At least three years of audit or transaction services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Excellent analytical and Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present due diligence findings clearly.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting issues.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, adapt to a fast-paced environment, provide superior client service, and travel to client locations.

Nice to have

• Current licensed CPA.
• Experience at a Big Four, national, or large regional firm.
• Aptitude for business development.
