Sr. Data Governance Analyst

hirify.global operates a Data Governance Program supporting the management, quality, compliance, and availability of critical data assets.

What you will do

• Lead the development, deployment, enforcement, and continuous improvement of data governance policies and processes.
• Manage data quality, ingestion workflows, master data, data lifecycle management, and governance controls.
• Configure, develop, support, and demonstrate data governance tools and technologies, including documentation for users.
• Translate business rules into data quality rules, oversee profiling, investigate root causes, and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Facilitate Data Working Groups to identify critical data assets, document their uses, and define governing business rules.
• Maintain program metrics and reporting for the Data Steering Committee and other oversight bodies, and collaborate on enterprise training content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Informatics, or a related business or technical field.
• 3–6 years of experience in data governance or quality management, information architecture, and governance design and implementation.
• 3–5 years of experience in banking and finance, with knowledge of bank operations and the banking regulatory environment.
• Experience managing enterprise data assets in a large, complex organization and operationalizing data policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
• Knowledge of master data management, metadata management, data stewardship, data catalogues, and data quality technologies; Microsoft Purview is preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, develop actionable plans, manage change, collaborate across teams, and adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice to have

• Data Governance, vendor, or industry certification.
• Knowledge of cloud and data management trends, open-source projects, data fabrics, hub-and-spoke models, and semantic web technologies.
