Manager, Data Management

What you will do

• Lead the firm-wide data quality and master data management program across client, contact, and matter-related data.
• Define and improve data quality standards, KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, and performance reporting.
• Implement distributed data ownership models, including RACI frameworks for owners, stewards, and supporting teams.
• Drive stakeholder accountability, manage remediation initiatives, conduct root-cause analysis, and resolve complex data issues.
• Oversee bulk updates, audits, exception handling, data correction, documentation, automation, and tooling improvements.
• Supervise, coach, and direct data management staff while partnering with Data Governance, Technology, and business leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Seven or more years of experience in data management, data quality, data governance, or data stewardship.
• Experience building or operationalizing data quality or data management programs.
• Strong knowledge of master data management, data quality frameworks, and distributed data ownership models.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with SQL and CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a federated or distributed data ownership environment.
• Familiarity with data governance tools, data catalogs, and data quality platforms.
