CRE Credit Analyst (Commercial Real Estate)

Location: Fully onsite in Irvine, California

Salary: $30.00–$47.00 per hour, with possible performance-based incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Support Commercial Real Estate underwriters and relationship managers in managing the loan portfolio.
• Review borrower financial reporting, covenant compliance, credit files, and term loan reviews.
• Analyze property financial statements, rent rolls, appraisals, environmental reports, personal credit reports, title reports, and borrowing entity structures.
• Complete risk ratings and support credit actions and new loan originations.
• Conduct occasional site inspections and prepare reports on property condition, occupancy, surrounding uses, and collateral quality.
• Identify policy exceptions, maintain regulatory knowledge, and support required compliance and training activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent education.
• Less than two years of experience as a financial analyst supporting commercial or commercial real estate lending is preferred.
• Basic ability to analyze financial and non-financial statements and tax returns.
• Ability to manage financial reporting and analysis independently while collaborating with underwriters and relationship managers.
• Strong organization, time management, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet and word-processing software, preferably Excel and Word.
