Operations Engineer (Fintech)

Location: On-site in New York City; candidates located in or open to relocating to New York City are encouraged to apply. The role is intended for current college seniors graduating between December 2026 and August 2027, with anticipated start dates in early 2027 or summer 2027.

Salary: $70,000–$100,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Develop new features for internal web platforms used by the Client Operations team.
• Build, refine, maintain, and monitor data acquisition and processing pipelines.
• Automate the acquisition and extraction of financial data from multiple sources.
• Apply traditional data processing methods and generative AI to acquire and structure data.
• Review automation outputs, improve data quality and processing efficiency, and maintain internal scripts and tooling.
• Debug, investigate, and troubleshoot errors across operational systems.

Requirements

• Current college senior graduating between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or another mainstream programming language.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to write accurate code for processing and understanding data.
• Strong communication, collaboration, learning, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in alternative investments or financial services.

Nice to have

• Web development experience with HTML, CSS, and React.
• Familiarity with capital calls, IRRs, recallable distributions, or K-1s.
• Finance or accounting coursework.
