What you will do

• Lead or co-lead antibody discovery programs from antigen design and immunization through hit identification, screening, and lead selection.
• Design antigen engineering strategies, including recombinant proteins, hapten conjugation, and cell-based immunization.
• Provide technical leadership across display screening, single B cell cloning, hybridoma, and other antibody discovery platforms.
• Lead discovery campaigns for bispecific and multispecific antibodies and evaluate emerging modality-specific approaches.
• Coordinate internal teams and CRO partners, defining scopes, deliverables, quality standards, milestones, and timelines.
• Support lead optimization through affinity maturation, humanization, liability assessment, AI-driven screening, machine learning-assisted design, and automated workflows.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in antibody discovery, including display technologies, B cell-based discovery, hit identification, and lead selection.
• Hands-on expertise in at least two discovery platforms, such as phage display, yeast display, ribosome display, single B cell cloning, or hybridoma technology.
• Experience with antigen design, immunization strategy, functional screening, triage, and lead nomination.
• Experience leading cross-functional discovery programs and managing CRO partnerships in global, cross-cultural settings.
• Strong scientific communication, project management, mentoring, and technology evaluation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with bispecific or multispecific antibodies and nanobody/VHH discovery workflows.
• Peer-reviewed publications, patents, or significant internal program milestones in antibody discovery.
• Experience with AI-based antigen design, computational screening, or laboratory automation.
