Science and Technology Innovation Director (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Develop hirify.global China’s science and technology innovation strategy and identify opportunities involving transformative technologies.
• Build leadership in oncology, neurology, immunology, and other clinical pathways.
• Identify technologies supporting drug discovery, biologics production, and cell and gene therapy development.
• Evaluate and build partnerships with pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, academic institutions, hospitals, and government entities.
• Coordinate global and China cross-functional teams and lead BEACON, Nexus, Pioneer, and open innovation initiatives.
• Drive collaboration with key opinion leaders, publish in high-impact journals, formulate clinical guidelines, and lead the hirify.global China Innovation Community.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in life science, biomedical engineering, biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or diagnostics, including relevant applications, technologies, patents, and intellectual property.
• Successful experience leading R&D or innovation functions, with an established research record demonstrated through publications or professional achievements.
• Experience in project management, partnership management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong scientific, technical, and business judgment, lateral thinking, influencing skills, and business acumen.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English are required.
