Technician II, Long Oligo Synthesis (Weekday Overnight) (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing tasks that transform raw materials into final oligonucleotide products.
• Carry out decontamination, product transfer, instrument maintenance, and equipment logging.
• Operate laboratory instruments according to work instructions, SOPs, customer-specific requirements, and company policies.
• Assess quality control data and make pass/fail decisions for oligonucleotides.
• Support daily process and product management by analyzing data, identifying problems, and suggesting countermeasures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency with PC software and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on-site in Coralville, Iowa.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or higher.
• At least 12 months of laboratory experience.
• Life sciences work experience.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Internet tools.
