What you will do

• Perform routine and moderately complex chemical analyses, including HPLC, assay, potency, and impurity testing.
• Lead sample tracking, test execution, result reporting, and high-volume laboratory workflows.
• Troubleshoot unexpected results, analytical methods, equipment, and instrumentation independently.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments and contribute to SOP creation, revision, and compliance.
• Support method optimization, validation, audits, safety inspections, and cross-functional technical projects.
• Train and mentor Analytical Chemist I and entry-level staff while communicating findings to laboratory and quality leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in a regulated analytical laboratory.
• Advanced proficiency with HPLC, UV-Vis, and other analytical instrumentation.
• Experience with sample preparative chemistry, wet chemistry analysis, laboratory data review, and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025, USP, A2LA, sampling methods, quality control systems, and data integrity.
• Ability to lead, mentor, train, troubleshoot independently, and use Microsoft Office and laboratory data management systems.

Nice to have

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
