Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer

What you will do

• Prepare construction documents, engineering calculations, specifications, and study-level reports for water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Design treatment plants, distribution and collection systems, pump stations, site layouts, utilities, grading, drainage, and paving.
• Evaluate and modify engineering techniques, determine design methods, and size and select equipment for complex assignments.
• Serve as the owner's representative by coordinating inspections, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, and responding to construction correspondence.
• Coordinate startup, commissioning, acceptance activities, and the work of engineers across multidisciplinary project teams.
• Conduct design development and contract document work sessions with other staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Previous experience in general civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Leadership, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in the Houston or Corpus Christi, Texas office.
