Advanced Healthcare Implementation Engineer (Health Information Systems)

Location: Remote in Saudi Arabia; travel may include up to 50% domestic travel.

What you will do

• Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between healthcare solutions and customer systems using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other interoperability standards.
• Conduct technical discovery, assess customer environments and workflows, and translate requirements into practical implementation approaches.
• Configure solutions for customer-specific operational and clinical requirements while maintaining implementation quality and long-term maintainability.
• Lead validation, testing, defect investigation, issue resolution, and go-live readiness activities.
• Act as an escalation point for technical issues, diagnose root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and share implementation knowledge across support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering healthcare technology solutions.
• Experience with enterprise healthcare software, EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera, or Meditech, as well as interface engines or integration platforms.
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, identity management, requirements analysis, configuration, testing, validation, go-live readiness, and production support.
• Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, plus experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Professional working proficiency in Arabic and the ability to communicate with technical and operational stakeholders.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Saudi Arabia without employment visa sponsorship.
