Principal Project Manager

Location: Onsite in Uppsala, Sweden

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of cross-functional R&D projects from planning through execution and launch.
• Coordinate hardware, consumables, software, systems, product management, and other stakeholders.
• Drive decision-making, risk management, issue resolution, governance, and delivery against scope, timeline, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor budgets, project performance, and KPIs while supporting resource allocation and delivery outcomes.
• Use digital tools, data analytics, and AI-enabled methods to improve forecasting, collaboration, transparency, and execution.
• Apply hirify.global Business System methodologies, contribute as a project management subject matter expert, and mentor other project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven success delivering technical or system projects in technical or system product development environments.
• Experience with lean and agile development frameworks.
• Several years of relevant industrial experience as a project manager, program manager, or in an equivalent role.
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical development projects in biotechnology, biopharma, medical devices, or other regulated industries.
• Experience mentoring or coaching project managers.
• Interest in applying AI and digital tools to project management and team effectiveness.
