What you will do
- Establish and own the global project management framework, standards, governance model, stage gates, and execution KPIs for Global Filler Metals.
- Lead complex projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, closure, and benefits realization.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, resources, risks, milestones, critical paths, and interdependencies across global workstreams.
- Coordinate accountability across R&D, sourcing, operations, GPM, and regional teams in a matrix organization.
- Engage senior leaders, sponsors, global stakeholders, vendors, and external partners through steering committees, workshops, and communication plans.
- Act as the primary escalation and resolution point while improving delivery predictability and reducing delays, rework, and escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, business, project management, or a related field.
- Senior-level experience leading global, cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working in complex, matrix-based industrial or manufacturing organizations.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder influence, and change leadership capabilities.
- Fluent English is required; Swedish is a merit.
Nice to have
- Experience with engineered products, materials, or industrial manufacturing.
- Formal project management certification such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, or equivalent.
- Experience with product data structures, master data governance, or portfolio management.
- Exposure to digitalization or workflow transformation initiatives.
