Data Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Poland

What you will do

• Develop and maintain the corporate data warehouse for business users, analysts, and ML engineers.
• Build data synchronization tools and pipelines for collecting data from internal and external systems.
• Develop EL, ELT, and ETL pipelines.
• Integrate data governance and data quality tools and practices.
• Optimize data infrastructure costs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses.
• Knowledge of data warehouse architectures including Kimball, Inmon, Medallion, and Data Mesh.
• Experience with data modeling, including SCD, normalized forms, star schemas, and Data Vault.
• Strong Python, SQL, and system design practices.
• Experience with Airflow, dbt, BigQuery, ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and GCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC APIs, message brokers, and queues.
• Experience with relational, MPP, and NoSQL data storage systems.
• Additional experience with Google Cloud Platform.
