Branch Manager (Belgium & Ireland)

Location: Brussels, with 3 weeks of onboarding in the Amsterdam office and 2 weeks per quarter in Amsterdam; the rest of the time can be worked from Belgium.

What you will do

• Deliver the full branch conversion for Ireland and Belgium by a fixed regulatory deadline and own the task register end to end.
• Act as the named contact for the National Bank of Belgium and the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Defend hirify.global's approach before regulators when it differs from their expectations.
• Localize the AML/CFT framework for both markets through gap analysis.
• Decide escalated retail customer due diligence cases where local context is decisive.
• Build and run AI-powered automation to scale branch and compliance operations.

Requirements

• Experience owning a supervisory relationship as the primary named contact.
• Practical knowledge of National Bank of Belgium or Central Bank of Ireland expectations.
• Experience delivering a regulated entity setup, licence change, or passporting project by a hard external deadline.
• Deep AML/CFT knowledge in Ireland or Belgium and working familiarity with the other market.
• Experience making and defending individual user investigation decisions in a consumer retail context.
