Senior Java Developer (Agentic AI)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; onsite five days a week. Full-time office work is required, with up to 10% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Java applications, microservices, and RESTful APIs for the MineStar ecosystem.
• Lead AI-enabled delivery workflows across requirements decomposition, solution design, implementation, testing, documentation, code review, defect triage, and production support.
• Validate AI-generated code and artefacts for correctness, security, maintainability, architecture fit, and production readiness.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions for complex distributed software problems.
• Establish quality gates and responsible governance practices for AI-assisted development.
• Support end-to-end delivery, including refinement, estimation, testing, release, observability, incident troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

Requirements

• Advanced Java development with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, RESTful APIs, database design, secure coding, and resilient service design.
• Knowledge of build and dependency management, CI/CD, DevOps tooling, automated testing, code review, observability, and software quality practices.
• Ability to use agentic AI workflows, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and human-in-the-loop validation.
• Strong analytical, architectural, design, problem-solving, communication, leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• 7+ years of relevant commercial software development experience, including substantial hands-on Java development.

• Practical experience applying agentic AI and AI orchestration in real software delivery.
• Experience creating reusable prompts, skills, workflow patterns, templates, and playbooks.
• Experience supporting production operations and implementing sustainable fixes.
