Salary: $85,000–$95,000 starting range; $85,000–$150,000 full range per year

What you will do

• Translate, edit, review, and proofread digital and print content in Brazilian Portuguese.
• Maintain grammatical, factual, stylistic, and brand accuracy across hirify.global products and materials.
• Edit punctuation, spelling, slang, terminology, and phrasing for different audiences.
• Review translated content to ensure linguistic quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with editors, translators, designers, project coordinators, and other departments.
• Report project status and progress to the Brazilian Portuguese Localization Editing Manager.

Requirements

• Native-level Brazilian Portuguese and fluent English are required.
• Two to four years of related professional experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience translating, editing, revising, or rewriting text-based content in the language of expertise.
• Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects, regular deadlines, tight deadlines, and shifting schedules.
• Detail orientation, strong communication skills, teamwork, ability to learn specialized technical programs, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
