Senior Data Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Remote; fully remote setup

What you will do

• Develop internal data services, including a Feature Store.
• Build EL, ELT, and ETL data pipelines.
• Integrate new tools for data processing and data storage.
• Design and maintain high-load, scalable data processing and storage systems.
• Work with event-driven systems, streaming pipelines, APIs, message brokers, and queues.
• Perform operational tasks for the Data Services Team.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, ML Engineer, or Backend Engineer.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, following best practices.
• Experience with scalable data processing and storage systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven systems and streaming pipelines.
• Understanding of system design best practices.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Debezium, BigQuery or ClickHouse, PostgreSQL or CockroachDB, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and GCP.

Nice to have

• Go development experience.
• Experience with relational, MPP, and NoSQL storage systems.
• Additional Google Cloud Platform experience.
