Embedded Junior GSOC Intelligence Analyst

Location: Fully onsite at the client's Toronto office, Canada. Work consists of rotating 8-hour early, late, and night shifts covering 24/7 operations, including weekends. Travel of up to 5% may be required.

Salary: CAD 65,000–85,000 per year

What you will do

• Monitor incidents, alerts, systems, and security operations continuously.
• Perform initial event triage, verification, classification, escalation, and coordination according to SOPs and response playbooks.
• Maintain incident logs and real-time documentation.
• Conduct horizon scanning, OSINT collection, and SOCMINT analysis to identify geopolitical, security, reputational, and operational risks.
• Produce threat assessments, impact analyses, intelligence reports, and briefings to support decision-making.
• Monitor CCTV feeds, access control, door alarms, and other physical security systems.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a corporate, public-sector, or private-sector environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of and interest in current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats.
• Experience using OSINT and social media intelligence platforms, tools, and methodologies.
• Ability to analyse large volumes of information, summarise events accurately, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple information sources.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while following GSOC, physical security, and asset security procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience with GSOC tools, including threat monitoring, OSINT, and SOCMINT platforms.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics, or a related discipline.
