Manager, Field Engineering - Eastern Europe

Location: Zürich, Switzerland; supporting customers and teams across Eastern Europe.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, hire, onboard, and scale a team of technical pre-sales Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers across Eastern Europe.
• Partner with Enterprise Sales leadership to forecast, technically qualify, and accelerate enterprise sales cycles.
• Connect technical validations, including PoCs and PVs, with consumption growth and measurable customer ROI.
• Guide the design of modern Data and AI solutions and review complex multi-cloud architectures.
• Engage customer executives and System Integrator or Cloud Service Provider partners on reference architectures, co-selling, and implementation strategies.
• Support regional marketing, community engagement, executive roundtables, and developer events.

Requirements

• Experience building, coaching, and scaling technical pre-sales or solutions architecture teams in a SaaS, cloud, or enterprise Data and AI environment.
• Practitioner or technical consulting experience in at least one core technical domain.
• Hands-on understanding of consumption-driven SaaS models, technical pipeline management, and deal-qualification frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
• Ability to review and influence complex AWS, Azure, and GCP data architectures.
• Strong communication, whiteboarding, storytelling, and executive engagement skills.
• Professional fluency in English is required.

• Fluency in an Eastern European language such as Polish, Greek, Romanian, Bulgarian, or Czech.
