Location: 100% onsite at 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, Massachusetts. A Massachusetts pharmacist license is required.

Salary: $115,000–$152,500 per year.

What you will do

  • Prepare, compound, and dispense non-sterile compounds, chemotherapy, biologics, controlled substances, and specialty medications for adult and pediatric patients.
  • Perform quality checks on prescription orders and support pharmacy technicians with complex prescription data entry.
  • Direct technician workflow to maintain operational efficiency and quality.
  • Review medication orders and drug therapy for completeness, appropriateness, interactions, allergies, contraindications, and dosing issues.
  • Consult with patients, physicians, and nurses regarding medications, instructions, and order clarification.
  • Document clinical interventions and report adverse drug reactions through the safety system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Active license to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • No prior hospital, retail, or specialty pharmacy experience is required.
  • Strong oral and written communication, critical thinking, prioritization, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
