DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Budapest, Pécs, or Debrecen, Hungary. Remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on T Cloud Public for availability and performance.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows production systems.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Support PostgreSQL administration, backups, performance optimization, documentation, and on-call operations.

Requirements

• Professional experience in DevOps or operations engineering.
• Strong proficiency with AWS, Azure, GCP, or another cloud platform.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and applying Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux and/or Windows administration, Git, and scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• English and German proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with T Cloud Public, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Grafana, or similar monitoring and logging platforms.
• Background in support and troubleshooting, infrastructure security, compliance, configuration management, and agile development.
• Bilingual fluency in German and English.
